In this time of outrage and injustice and grief, we are responsible to our students for teaching racial justice both through content and practice. The following resources represent a few of those we feel are focused on truth, empowerment, and change in the ongoing efforts to create and achieve racial justice. § Exploring Equity: Race and Ethnicity: “These resources focus on the role that racial and ethnic identity play with respect to equity and opportunity in education” § Anti-Racist Pedagogy in Action: First Steps : “ These resources provide a synthesis of anti-racist pedagogy research for faculty and graduate instructors who strive to incorporate an anti-racist pedagogy into their personal teaching practice.” § Horizons of Racial Justice for Comparative and International Education: “This editorial focuses on the special issue “Black Lives Matter and Global Struggles for Racial Justice in Education” and engages with the theory and praxis of Black Lives Matter (BLM)” § Challenging Anti-Black Racism in Everyday Teaching, Learning, and Leading: From Theory to Practice: “This article examines how antiblackness and anti-Black racism is manifested in schooling spaces through teaching, learning, and leadership, and offers actions that educators can take in everyday practice to confront and disrupt” § Syllabus: 21-Day Racial Equity Habit-Building Challenge: “The Challenge invites participants to complete a syllabus of 21 short assignments (typically taking 15-30 minutes), over 21 consecutive days, that include readings, videos or podcasts. It has been intentionally crafted to focus on the Black American experience. The assignments seek to expose participants to perspectives on elements of Black history, identity and culture, and to the Black community’s experience of racism in America.” .
